I have observed that as there are enough plants to provide both insects with nectar and other juices they need, there would be no competition going on in terms of food availability.

Do Bees And Wasps Fight Each Other?
Bees and wasps will fight off each other once either is invading the nest of the other insect.
When really hungry, wasps usually attack weaker hives and then continually test their defences. The wasps fight off the soldier bees and if there are many enough, they eventually succeed in killing the bees at the hive entrance.
